Location: Stirling Smith Art Galllery & Musuem | Guests: 120+ | Date: June 2024 | Brief: Cater for 120 delegates providing a drinks reception and canapés with a focus on local produce.
The Stirling Smith Gallery was a fantastic location to welcome over 120 delegates who were visiting Stirling University as part of large conference.
As the venue does not hold a Premises Licence to sell/serve alcohol we took care of applying for the occasional licence and provided both personal licence holders and licensed trained staff for the event to run professionally.
We were asked by the University to put together a menu of reception drinks and canapés featuring local produce to showcase what excellent food and drink we have on our door step.
For the reception drinks we served two popular local beers from Harviestoun Brewery which are made at the foot of the Ochil Hills and are known for their high quality. We also could not showcase local drinks without featuring our friends at Stirling Distillery who make their gin literally at the other side of the castle. It doesn't get more local than that!
To compliment the drinks we had a range of canapés with the crowd favourite being our Haggis & Black Pudding Sausage rolls. These handmade sausage rolls with our own spicy tomato sauce were a new addition to the menu and will likely be here to stay.
If you have an event and require reception drinks, pop up bar, cocktail carts or more get in touch. We can arrange the logistics of working with the venue, the equipment required and making sure the event is fully licensed.
